Where Do You Summer? extended the concerns of For We Are Where We Are Not into a participatory key. 50 mini Adirondack chairs, repurposed from a prior project, painted, and mailed out across the country, became a way of thinking about distance, travel, and the dissemination of objects as a creative act. As participants carried the chairs with them through the summer of 2016, the project traced an expanding map of place and movement, creating the conditions for narrative without dictating its form.
